Welcome Bealtaine, the 3rd release in our Wheel of the Year series. This limited edition Dingle Single Pot Still whiskey has been matured in first-fill Bourbon casks before a long finish in first-fill Shiraz wine casks from Teusner Wines in the Barossa Valley, Australia.
Tasting Notes
Nose - Blackcurrant jam on freshly toasted bread, sun dried raisins, sweet dates and vanilla cream.
Taste - Warm dark cherries in syrup, chewy nutty caramel, rhubarb and custard, velvety dark chocolate.
Finish - A clinging, syrupy texture slowly melts leaving a warm spice sensation.
