A traditional Pot Still Whiskey from barley grown on the Lakeview Estate outside Killarney, then matured on the Estate, hence Single Estate. This is a pure expression of provenance and the terroir of the Estate.

Almost full term matured in ex Premier Grand Cru Bordeaux casks, gives honeyed sweetness, grassy, earthy and barley notes and a lasting finish.

Those who have experienced Killarney, will know of our signature changeable weather. This causes increased interaction between cask and spirit, giving the Whiskey complexity, smoothness and depth beyond its years.

Wayward Irish Spirits process is to cut slowly to 46% over 6 weeks, resulting in a smoother Whiskey with a full mouthfeel, before bottling onsite, when it’s ready. Natural deep honey colour, no chill filter.
