The Liberator Dbl Port Stout Finish 500m

Description

Cask 7425 is a 30 year old Tawny Port barrel we sourced direct from from the Quinta in 2018. It worked its' magic on our Whiskeys for 4 years and, when we retired it, we offered it to our friends at McGill's Brewery around the Ring of Kerry in Waterville. They aged some of their Stout in it for 6 months.

The result is their award winning

An Coireán Imperial Stout.

We then brought it back round the Ring and refilled it with our ever popular Double Port blend.

Then we waited...and tasted...

After 5 months, to the fruit bomb of our Whiskey it's added delicious layers of chocolate and coffee.

Unfiltered to preserve flavour so expect traces of char. Bottled at 52.6% ABV, the perfect balance between flavour and drinkability.
