 The Reeks Series Part II – The Twin Peaks

This is the second part of a trilogy of bottlings for Friends of Irish Whiskey by Wayward Irish Spirits, named The Reeks Series (after the mountain range overlooking the Lakeview Estate).

The Twin Peaks comprises of 2 x 350ml bottles at cask strength, being a deconstruction of the popular Liberator Double Port, bursting with stone fruit and berry fruit flavours. ‘The Bones’ is the Malt component, a 2015 GND triple distilled Single Malt finished in really fresh Tawny Port casks, both first and second fill, and bottled at 57.7%. ‘The Hag’s Tooth’ is the Grain component, an 8 year old Single Grain finished in Ruby Port casks and bottled at 63.6%.
