Rod Stewart has announced the release of Wolfie’s Whisky on social media, a project that he revealed has been two years in the making and that Stewart called “a rascal of a thing” that “takes you back to the good old days”.

The blended whisky has been distilled, blended and bottled at Loch Lomond distillery in Alexandria, Scotland, under the eye of master blender Michael Henry, who was appointed to the position in 2014 following ten years as a brewer.

At 40% ABV, Wolfie’s is described as having “flavours of warming cinnamon, fresh vanilla and baked apple”.
